Comment j’ai souffert en tant qu’athlète et ce dont j’aurais eu besoin

J’ai été athlète de haut niveau durant 6 ans entre mes 12 et mes 18 ans. Je pratiquais la gymnastique rythmique en équipe, et en apparence tout semblait bien se passer. Nous avons réalisé des championnats du monde et nous avons obtenu de bons résultats. Mon état s’est dégradé au fur et à mesure des années jusqu’à devenir insoutenable provoquant ainsi l’arrêt définitif de ma pratique. S’en sont suivi de lourdes conséquences et de longues années de reconstruction que je détaillerai plus bas. Ainsi, ces années dans le sport de haut niveau m’ont beaucoup abimées, et je vous partage ici les quelques facteurs qui selon moi, m’ont prédisposé à des fragilités.

The story of how I suffered as an athlete and what I would have needed

I was a top-level athlete for 6 years between the ages of 12 and 18. I practiced rhythmic gymnastics as part of a team, and on the surface everything seemed to be going well. We took part in world championships and achieved good results. As the years went by, my condition deteriorated until it became unbearable, leading me to stop my sport for good. This was followed by serious consequences and long years of reconstruction, which I am detailing below. In the end, these years of top-level sport have taken their toll on me, and I would like to share with you some of the factors which, in my opinion, predisposed me to fragility:

Für einen Athleten, der in seinem täglichen Sportumfeld mit Grenzverletzungen konfrontiert ist, fühlt sich diese Zeitspanne mit Sicherheit wie eine Ewigkeit an. Für Sportverbände ist diese Zeit- spanne vielleicht vertrauter und akzeptabler, vergleichbar mit einem olympischen Zyklus. Wie empfinden Sie es?

To an athlete experiencing breaches of safeguarding in his or her daily sporting environment, this will most definitely feel like a lifetime.
